As this ends both miniature four week projects, I briefly wanted to mention a small detail. There were images for each project used at the beginning of those posts every time. The photography project one with the sunset is a picture of mine but the new character one with the curtain, all credit goes to the individual that posted it in Google images. Just like I've said several times, unless I mention it in a post (like I just did), then all the photographs I post here are mine. Anyway, hope you all enjoyed both projects!
This set of new characters draws to a close with the second frog of the group, Froggie. As with some of the other new characters, I still am working on getting his body looking right. Take a peak at the start of him at the bottom of the post.

The third new character, the lion, has now lingered out for you all to see. I am still in the process of getting his body right so bear with me on that. The mane needs some work as well. Until then, here's the lion so far. Enjoy!
Well here is finally the second new character being introduced, Mr. Frog. I apologize for the delay and unfortunately my yet to be determined injury on my drawing hand has prevented me from being able to draw a final version of this new guy (don't worry -- it's not a painful injury or anything). Anyway, you guys are left to settle for just these previous sketches I did of Mr. Frog. Will upload a final version when I can get one done. For now though, take care. Enjoy!
Here it is folks. Part one of four of the introduction of new characters. The character that has the honor of being presented first is the crab. One day not too long ago while doodling, this little guy just crawled (no pun intended) into my head. Soon after, I tried out several versions and scenarios of this new fellow which are shown in the first two sketches below. The third image is the final rendition of the crab (..for now). Enjoy!
I decided to take everyone behind the scenes and show the original concept sketches on my new character, Dumingo. The name Dumingo is derived from the fact that he looks like a morphed duck and flamingo (duck-like bill, general flamingo-like body). There are also some metamorphosis versions thrown in. If the sketches appear too light and are too difficult to see, just drop me a line and I'll fix it (remember you can click the image to view it larger, which may make it easier to see). Dumingo will also make his appearance in Arsenal of Characters fairly soon. I am looking forward to seeing what will come of this new creation!
